What We Measure

Events we track

When someone visits your Linkimiz page or clicks one of your links, we record a small set of data points server-side so your analytics dashboard stays accurate.

• ·Page views — Each visit to your public profile page, counted once per session.
• ·Link clicks — Which links visitors tap or click, and when.
• ·Referrers — The website or app that sent the visitor (e.g., Instagram, Google). We record only the domain, never the full URL.
• ·Device type — Whether the visitor used a phone, tablet, or desktop, inferred from the User-Agent header.
• ·Country — Approximate country code derived from the Vercel/Cloudflare edge header — the raw IP address is never stored.

What we do not collect

• ·No cookies or browser fingerprinting — Analytics are recorded entirely on the server — no script runs in the visitor's browser.
• ·No third-party tracking pixels — We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other external analytics service on profile pages.
• ·No persistent visitor identity — We do not build profiles of individual visitors across sessions.
• ·No cross-site tracking — Your visitors are not tracked across other websites.

How this data is used

All measurements are aggregated and shown exclusively to the owner of each Linkimiz page inside their analytics dashboard. We use the same data to detect abuse (e.g., automated click fraud) and to improve platform performance. We do not sell analytics data or share it with advertisers.

Data retention

• ·Account lifetime — Analytics data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• ·Account deletion — When you delete your account all analytics data is permanently deleted.
• ·CSV export — You can export your data at any time from the Analytics dashboard.
